Keola (11) decided he wanted to do a sponsored activity like his brother did last year to raise funds for his end of primary school trip. They are going to Madrid for 4 days.
He loves football, so decided to do a sponsored keepie uppie of 1000, which he did over the course of a few weeks (largely due to a knee injury and some downtime) We also agreed he would do a 6km walk and although the plan had been to do the Barranco Del Infierno, we couldn’t get booked to do an early morning walk before it got too hot. So, we changed plan and did a mountian walk instead.
We had a lovely morning in El Medano walking from one end of La Tejita Beach to the base of montaña roja and then to the summit 343m, then back down the mountain along to El Medano then back to la tejita for a dip in the COLD sea and back to the car, all in all 7.1km – 9,856 steps.
Challenge DONE He is a happy chap as he did what he said he would.
Here is the link to his Go Fund me page if you would like to sponsor him.
